A long time ago in a galaxy not so far away, MVMC did not have any youth sessions. In fact, MVMC was home to only adults with a lived experience in mental health and their friends and family. The importance of having outreaches and involving youth is becoming more and more common.
We acknowledge the importance of having our youth be responsible and also use the creative process to explore self-expression and, discover their own path.
In the arts, the creative process applies to all and, just like a version of art therapy can help a person to focus, relieve stress, and anxiety, and create a positive outlook on life.
The process and implementation of free art sessions are now available at CASA Art Night, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Tulare County, the HEAL Project Creative Corner, and the small community in Allensworth, CA, Allensworth Art Night.
