Welcome to the Projects Page at My Voice Media Center 2021
In continuing our Sessions throughout COVID -19 through Zoom and other Social Media (via our Facebook Page), we as artists and participants are able to continue telling our lived experienced Mental Health Stories through our art and communication with each other, Peer Support. I encourage everyone to take a part in our Projects and continue to build skills and life-long tMental Health Tools that we can build upon in expressive ways through our Art-Making. This page and connecting pages are designed for Participants to not only create a Gallery online, but have a portfolio designed by them published for their experience. We are so proud of all of you!
My Voice Media Center
Peer Support is a service that we offer to all Participants. Our Peer Support Specialist, Olivia Garza offers spots 2X per week.
NSSB; No Stigma Speaker's Bureau
No Stigma Speaker's Bureau is a Participant writing project that is part of My Voice Media's Peer Connections and Peer Support. Our Peers begin to write their Mental Health Story and begin being comfortable telling it, one day at a time. When our Peer is ready they are able to help organizations like Hospitals and the Police, telling a short 2 minute story, guided by our staff.
We support having "No Stigma", embracing Mental Health Illnesses and supporting one another on our journey.
