The My Voice Media Centers No Stigma Speakers Bureau has been thriving!
We recently had a few speaking engagements the first was with Nursing students and last week we spoke to the Tulare Sunrise Rotary Club. Our ladies did great as usual, we are so proud of them for being so brave and talking about their journey through mental health, wellness, and recovery. The NSSB Meets every 2nd and fourth Tuesday of the month.
We help one another write our stories of our experiences with mental health, we practice with each other then go out into the community and educate people about mental illness. Our goal is to end the stigma towards mental health and let others know that wellness and recovery are possible.
