EXPRESSIONS
OF WELLNESS

Welcome to the My Voice Media Center Blog, where creativity and self-care meet.

Join us each week for session spotlights, event highlights, and reflections on how art and community support mental wellness.

Sharing Stories & Building Support

At the My Voice Media Center, we're all about connection. Whether it's through creativity, conversation, or simply showing up for one another, our sessions make space for community and growth. This month, we're highlighting two powerful ways our participants are doing just that.

NSSB in the Community

Our No Stigma Speakers Bureau participants have been sharing their stories with San Joaquin Valley College nursing students, the Rotary Club of Visalia, Pine Recovery, mental health workers, and more. Their honesty and courage are helping break down stigma and open up meaningful conversations around mental health. We're so proud of the impact they're making!

Introducing "Visual Voices"

Visual Voices is our newest addition to the MVMC session lineup. This fun and uplifting group peer support session starts April 30th. It's a welcoming space that blends creativity, connection, and conversation. Through art projects, games, creative worksheets, and shared experiences, participants can express themselves and feel supported.
