Ever wish you could bring your art to life, one frame at a time?
That's exactly what our photography participants did this month. Using everyday supplies and a lot of imagination, they explored stop-motion animation, a playful technique where still images become moving stories.
Some projects were light and playful, like erasers skating across a page or ducks swimming through a paper pond. Others used the game of Scrabble to spell out thoughtful phrases such as "The Story of My Life"
Another uniquely impressive piece was a hand-drawn horse animation, crafted frame by frame in pencil. The motion is smooth and detailed, showing incredible patience and skill from the artist.
Each project tells a different kind of story, whether it's silly, heartfelt, or just plain fun.
