November arrives in the color of Mulberry - deep, warm, and full of heart - reminding us to slow down and notice the things we're thankful for. It's a time for reflection, connection, and celebrating how creativity helps us capture what matters most. At MVMC, we see gratitude show up in every shared project, from the laughter during sessions to the stories preserved through art.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at Taste the Arts! Your energy and creativity made the day unforgettable, and we loved seeing so many familiar faces, and meeting new ones, too! If you joined us at the festival, we'd love to hear your thoughts. Please take a moment to fill out this quick guest feedback survey to help us make future events even better.

Featured Session: Video Editing
This month, we're putting the spotlight on our Video Editing session. In this space, memories find a home. Participants learn how to capture and edit video highlights from our favorite community events, performances, field trips, and everyday moments to tell meaningful visual stories. In addition to playing with plots and special effects, our participants learn to preserve special experiences while showing gratitude for the people and moments that make life magical.

At Home Activity: A Gratitude Montage
Would you like to try editing some of your favorite video memories at home? Using your phone or free programs such as CapCut, gather short clips or photos that make you smile: a friend's laugh, a sunset, your pet, or even a title card that says "What I'm Grateful For". Editing these together into a short Gratitude Montage is a simple way to reflect on the little things that bring warmth to your days.
