As most of you know, I will be resigning from my position as Project Coordinator at the Arts Consortium. I will no longer be working with the My Voice Media Project.
I will be seeking my teaching credentials with a newly founded partnership between Tulare County Office of Education and Fresno State University, called the TRRE program, or Teacher Residency for Rural Education.
I am glad I have had this time to work with you all and to also work with the Arts Consortium. My Voice Media Center will always hold a place in my heart and I hope I have done all I can to make the position of Project Coordinator ready for someone very lucky.
My Journey:
When I began my journey with My Voice Media Center at Arts Consortium, I was a student at the Academy of Art University for my BFA in Art Education. I wanted to teach and make a difference with MVMC in our mental health community. Helping others was important part to my profession and to me as I continued my journey.
I was a facilitator for drawing, painting and 2D and 3D Art.
I continued my journey as a facilitator with MVMC and substituting with TCOE as a substitute assistant teacher for the severely handicapped. I realized after working with mental health and TCOE that helping people was what I wanted to do the most.

As I realized how important ALL our journeys are, I applied to be the Project Coordinator.
I have helped develop the first-ever Project Coordinator position, an impact on how the center works within Arts Consortium and for our mental health community! That's something!
I have hopefully been there for some of you, facilitators, staff, and participants, looking to stay on your path of wellness, recovery, and resilience. I have seen a lot of you grow, stay dedicated, and use your learned artistic resilience to share with the world, and enjoy the new you!
Keep expressing yourself to the world, keep being resilient, and keep smiling!
