Creative Compassion in Action

This month's Share What You Love OPEN MIC was full of heart. Participants and staff took the mic to sing, read poetry, play instruments, and cheer each other on in a welcoming, supportive space. It was a beautiful reminder that creativity can be a powerful way to show compassion, both for ourselves and for others.
We also debuted a brand new MVMC session at College of the Sequoias, facilitated by Merry Miller-Gass. The group created illustrated artist punchcards to help build creative habits, practice resilience, and celebrate progress through small self-rewards along the way. It was a great first day, and we are excited to see what everyone creates next!
Thank you to everyone who came out, shared their voice, and helped make these moments so special.
